APPLY TO BEAUTIFY YOUR BRAND

Every year Rogue Penguin chooses a charity or not-for-profit organization and provides marketing support pro bono to give back to our incredible community. This year, everyone is struggling, so we’re opening up our give back criteria to a bigger audience. Whether you’re a for-profit business, struggling to rebrand or create your first logo, or a charity or not-for-profit looking to make a big impact, we’re offering our help completely free.

 

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

Contest Rules and Criteria to Enter our Brand-Tastic Giveaway:

  • You're a new or existing business or organization in need of branding but haven't got the budget for it. Maybe you've never had professional branding created before, or it's time for a facelift. Your job is to tell us why this is important for you, and how it will help you grow.

  • We need your buy-in! You agree to take the time to meet with us for at least one discovery meeting, and communicate regularly via phone or email. We'll need you to join video conference calls to go over logo concepts and proofs, and provide detailed feedback for the two rounds of edits we provide.

  • You've got a firm understanding of who your target audience is, and what appeals to them, and are able to communicate that to us.

  • Your business or organization operates within Canada.

 

What You’ll Get:

  • A beautiful logo that suits your business and speaks to your audience,

  • A brand story you can use as your elevator pitch, social media descriptions, and website’s About page, which will tell your brand’s values and history in a succinct three to five paragraphs. 

  • A folder including all the file types you’ll need for printing signage, use on your website, and any other marketing activities.

  • A brand standards manual showing you how to use your logo so it will represent your business well for years to come. 

 

The work process:

  • Discovery meeting with client via video platform like Google Hangouts

  • Three logo concepts, presented to the contest winner

  • Followed by two rounds of edits

  • Brand story also includes a max. of two rounds of edits

  • Timeline will be agreed upon by both parties at the beginning of the project

 

Copyrights:

  • You guarantee any and all elements of text, graphics, photos, trademarks, or other artwork you provide for inclusion in the design are either owned by you, or that you have permission to use them.

  • You own the graphics and other visual elements created for this project. You will be given a copy of all files and you are responsible for safe storage for future use.

  • You also own text content, photographs and other data you provided.

  • We love to show off your work and share what we have learned/created together, as such, we reserve the right to display and link to your completed project as part of our portfolio.

Applications will be accepted from May 14, 2020 - June 15, 2020. A winner will be selected and contacted June 19, 2020.
